Vincent Wechselberg

Ready                         Winner of the 2024 Portfolio Review

Ready is a personal project that stems from Vincent Wechselberg‘s experience in the world of sex work. At eighteen, he received his first offer of taschengeld (pocket money) for sexual services, which led him to explore this universe in Berlin.

The goal of this project is to change the perception of sex work, especially from the perspective of queer and femme individuals. While some realities can be difficult, for many, this work represents empowerment, autonomy, and new opportunities.

With Ready, the author seeks to make authentic stories visible, destigmatize this world, and share a part of himself and those who have been part of this journey. It is an evolving story, full of human connections, resilience, and authenticity.
