Have you always wanted to discover the process of film development and color printing?
A workshop designed to give you a complete experience—from shooting to developing and, finally, printing.
What will we do?
Part 1: Self-portraits with a Cambo camera
Each participant will have the opportunity to take their own self-portrait in 6×7 format.
Film: Kodak Portra
Part 2: Color film development
We will develop the film containing the self-portraits using the AGO (Vintage Visual) processor.
Chemistry: ADOX C-TEC 41
Part 3: Self-portrait printing
We will enlarge the self-portraits, adjusting density and correcting colors. By the end, you will have a 20×25 cm print to take home.
Workshop with Miquel Navarro
He started thirty years ago as an advertising photographer, specializing in both analog and digital photography. For fourteen years, he worked in digital retouching for the advertising industry in London.
Currently, he is fully immersed in the world of analog photography, working from his lab-studio, Revelacions Analògiques, with the mission of promoting DIY C41 and RA4 processes under the name IN COLOR WE TRUST.
In parallel, he collaborates as a technician at AUTOFOTO, maintaining its analog photo booths in Barcelona.

Requirements
No prior experience is required, but having knowledge of black and white darkroom work can be helpful as a foundation for the lab workflow.
Digital color correction (Photoshop) helps to bridge the gap between the digital environment and the physical source when working with the enlarger.
