How to get there
Most of the exhibitions are located at the old Cal Garbat factory (Carrer Balears, 12, 08339 Vilassar de Dalt, Barcelona). There you will find the information point, ticket sales, and merchandise, and they will inform you about the location of the other exhibitions (all within five minutes’ walk).
During the week, all spaces, except for the Cal Garbat Factory, will be closed from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
If you came by car
From Barcelona, take the C-32 highway towards Mataró, then take exit 92 for Vilassar de Dalt – Premià de Dalt – Premià de Mar.
After the toll booth, take the road to the right towards Vilassar de Dalt.
You can also access from the N-II, in Premià de Mar, by taking the road that leads directly to Vilassar de Dalt.
By bus
From Barcelona, you can take bus 803 or 805, which depart from Gran Via, Passeig de Gràcia, or Plaça Tetuán.
Get off at the last stop, and it will drop you right next to the old industrial complex!
From Mataró, you can take bus C30.
By train
You can access it via the R1 commuter train line, getting off at the Premià de Mar station.
From there, you can take a taxi or the C30 bus (Mataró-Vilassar de Dalt).
In both cases, you need to exit the station and cross the road (traffic lights or underground passage).

By plane
From the airport, you can take a bus (which stops at all terminals) to Plaça Catalunya, and then take the 803 or 805 bus, which goes directly to Vilassar de Dalt.

It is recommended to head directly to the industrial area, where there are more parking spaces, and from there, walk for 10 minutes (C/ Eduard Calvet i Pinto).
Accommodation
In Vilassar de Dalt, there is only one hotel, so accommodation availability is very limited, and unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to manage visitors’ accommodation.
However, there are several alternatives:
– You can look for a hotel in nearby towns, as there are many options available in the area, or tourist accommodation within Vilassar itself.
– Another option is to stay in Barcelona, which offers a wide variety of central accommodations. From there, you can reach Vilassar de Dalt in approximately 20 minutes by bus 803.
– If you are traveling with a camper van, you can park in the industrial area of Vilassar de Dalt, where parking is easy to find.

Vilassar de Dalt
Vilassar de Dalt, a town with a rich cultural, natural, industrial, and archaeological heritage.
As the gateway to the Serralada Litoral Natural Park, its old town retains many characteristic architectural elements, such as its castle, declared a historic and artistic monument in 1931, which majestically crowns the town center. It is also important to highlight the large factory buildings, which bear witness to the town’s rich textile industrial past. The archaeological heritage includes all the megalithic sites in the Can Boquet region and the dolmen of Roca d’en Toni.
The Teatre de la Massa, with its majestic dome designed by architect Rafael Guastavino, is the hub of cultural activity. Regarding museums, it is worth mentioning the Museu Arxiu de Vilassar de Dalt and the Cau del Cargol, one of the most important private malacology collections in Europe.
