Històries properes

The walls of Cal Garbat echo a history that has endured for centuries. From its days as a textile factory to the present, this space has become a symbol of the identity of Vilassar de Dalt. Today, however, its upper floors remain closed, hiding corners that seem frozen in time—places that reveal a heritage that deserves to be rediscovered and preserved.

The images captured on these inaccessible floors serve as a living testament to their raw and authentic beauty. Each photographed corner confronts us directly: What will happen to this heritage?

Cinc sentits

A collective of volunteers close to the organization has decided to pay tribute to this place that has welcomed us over the past ten years.

By photographing everything that visitors cannot see, what lies above this first floor where the exhibitions take place.

A magical place that, in our view, should be preserved for the culture of both the present and the future.

Because, if we listen closely, these walls still have many stories to tell.
