Call to exhibit at Revela’t 2025

The call for submissions aims to select three projects created within the realm of analog photography that will be awarded (production or transportation and fee) and exhibited at the upcoming edition of the Revela’t Festival, which will take place from May 17 to June 15, 2025. In addition to these three winning projects, several more may be selected for exhibition if the authors wish, but without the support of the awards.

The opportunity to exhibit at the festival includes support for the winners’ travel and accommodation, international promotion, and networking opportunities with other professionals in the cultural sector, specifically in the photographic field.

The call is open to all photographers with an analog project and the ambition, desire, and motivation to showcase it to the world. Revela’t is a platform for emerging and renowned international photographers alike, as we believe in the strength of the projects and the importance of providing opportunities for authors who have not yet established a solid career. Revela’t means international projection at any stage of an author’s journey.

All participants, selected or not, will have the opportunity to share their work in a digital projection at the festival’s main venue.

Closed Call. The deadline was November 24, 2024..

About the festival

The Revela’t Contemporary Analog Photography Festival is the first analog photography festival in the world and has been held for the past thirteen years in Vilassar de Dalt (Barcelona). It is a month-long celebration of analog photography, featuring exhibitions, markets, workshops, portfolio reviews, and many other activities, bringing together renowned artists and emerging proposals, some of which will be shown for the first time.

During the festival’s main week, all authors gather and meet in person, with a wide range of activities and meetings organized, such as a brunch with gallerists, curators, editors, and other professionals in the photographic field, guided tours, media presence, and lectures, among others. One of the most valuable things you will gain from Revela’t is the important contacts you will make and the relationships you will create here.

Who can apply to the Call

Amateur, professional, or emerging photographers from any nationality, origin, or place of residence with a project in chemical or analog photography related to the theme of each edition may apply.

How to apply

Via Picter, a widely used platform for such calls, which is very easy to use and allows you to save projects for submission to other calls worldwide. It is also a very practical tool for the jury, speeding up voting while making it more informed and accurate.

When uploading your project, you will need to submit a BIO (up to 1500 characters) and a PROJECT DESCRIPTION (up to 2500 characters), as well as between 10 and 15 images with a minimum of 1500 pixels on the longest side and in JPG format. If you prepare this in advance, the process will be much faster.

You may submit more than one project, but as separate entries.
