Revela’t 2025: I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe
In 2025, the theme of Revela’t was I’ve Seen Things You Wouldn’t Believe, an invitation to look beyond the visible, to delve into the boundaries of memory, imagination, and human experience.
The phrase, taken from the iconic Blade Runner monologue, resonated as a metaphor for the photographic gaze: a witness to the extraordinary, the fleeting, and that which often escapes words. Through this idea, the edition proposed a journey through images that explore the impossible, the fantastic, the invisible, or the forgotten.
Each exhibition was a window into worlds that exist —or perhaps once existed— on the margins of reality. A reflection on how we see, remember, and construct our own fictions.
The public enjoyed 25 exhibitions, from May 17 to June 15, in Vilassar de Dalt (Barcelona), reaffirming Revela’t as the international festival of reference dedicated exclusively to contemporary analog photography.
The photographer honored in this edition was Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos, whose humanistic and deeply poetic work has captured, like few others, the beauty and contradiction of reality.
