Everything began in 2013 as a gathering of analog photography enthusiasts. Following the success of the event, the attendees themselves encouraged us to continue. That’s when we realized we were the first festival in the world dedicated exclusively to analog photography, becoming a reference for initiatives in other countries. Since then, we have already celebrated twelve editions!

Our goal is to be a meeting point for thought and creation around analog photography, but beyond the technical processes, we focus on the stories that images tell and the depth behind each project. That’s why, in each edition, we choose a central theme that inspires the exhibitions. For the 2025 edition, the theme is “I’ve seen things you wouldn’t believe…”, a phrase taken from the iconic final monologue of the film Blade Runner, and we are sure you will see extraordinary things.

Since the first edition, we have had the support of renowned photographers from around the world, which has allowed us to present high-quality exhibitions. These projects, together with those selected from the open call, make up the exhibition program. In the 2025 edition, we received 655 proposals from 62 different countries, a clear indicator of the level of internationalization we have achieved—along with 196 proposals for the Portfolio Review.

This journey would not have been possible without the support of various institutions and entities, both public and private, as well as the essential collaboration of our community of Friends of Revela’t, patrons, and our invaluable team of volunteers.

In addition to the exhibitions, we offer a wide range of activities for photography and art lovers: conferences, workshops, screenings, markets, and much more. Each edition is an opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts and become part of a diverse and welcoming community.

The festival is the perfect excuse to come together and enjoy our shared passion for analog photography. We look forward to seeing you at Revela’t 2025!
