A photography and visual storytelling workshop based on collective practice and critical thinking applied to the image. The proposal to create a photographic fanzine begins with a fictional commission from a Japanese publishing house. Each participant is limited to 144 exposures and works on a shared theme.
The project takes place in Vilassar de Dalt under the title The Vertical Village. On one hand, it explores the physical relationship between the body and the landscape through the village's steep streets, routes, changes in elevation, and everyday life. On the other, the village is understood as a mosaic of historical, domestic, natural, and human layers that each participant interprets through their own perspective.

David Salcedo is a photographer and visual artist. His work explores the relationship between territory, landscape, and everyday experience through photography, sequencing, and the photobook.
Focusing particularly on urban and Mediterranean contexts, he develops projects that engage with memory, repetition, and contemporary ways of living together.
His work has been exhibited at national and international festivals, museums, and art centres, and is featured in various photobooks and editorial projects through which he continues to expand his visual and narrative research.
