Inauguration and tribute to Cristina de Middel

As always, during the second weekend, from May 24th to 26th, most activities take place and the majority of participating artists converge at the Revela’t festival.

We also take advantage of the welcoming Friday to present our Silver Pin to the honored artist of the edition.

In this twelfth edition of Revela’t, we have the honor of presenting it to the great Cristina de Middel, which will kick off a great weekend.

We will also have the presence of Rafa Doctor and Marta Nin, who will give us an approach to their work and, together with Cristina, will explain their exhibition, which can be seen in the Sala de l’Estrella, “Letters to the Director.”

Then, a beer awaits us in Plaça del Teatre, thanks to Estrella Damm, and of course, we will have those reunions that we await year after year, hugs, chats, toasts, and memories.

Cristina de Middel is a Spanish documentary photographer and artist who resides and works between Brazil, Mexico, and Spain. Initially, she worked as a photojournalist for various Spanish newspapers and NGOs before opting for a more artistic and personal practice.

She was awarded the National Photography Prize in 2017, and her remarkable career led her to be appointed president of Magnum Agency in 2022.
