Inauguration and homage to…

Ramón Masats

As always, the main weekend (the second) is when most of the activities take place and when most of the artists participating in the Revela’t festival are concentrated.

We also take advantage of the welcome Friday to give our Silver Pin to a person who has dedicated his/her life to photography and who has done it mostly in analogue (so far we can do it this way, later on, we’ll see).

In this eleventh edition of Revela’t, we have the honour of paying tribute to the great Ramón Masats, in what will be the start of a great weekend. We don’t know yet if it will be possible to count on his live presence, in which case we will try to contact him by videoconference.

In any case, we will have Chema Conesa, the curator of the magnificent exhibition that can be seen in the Sala de l’Estrella, Made in Spain, and Sonia Masats, the daughter of the honoree and who will surely be able to tell us more about the great figure of her father.

Previously, we will have the conference of one of the great Spanish fashion photographers, Manuel Outumuro, in which we will be able to see his process, his work and talk to him, a real luxury for us to have him at this edition.

We will also have time to give out the awards for the portfolio viewing, where we are sure to discover new looks and projects that will stand out.

Afterwards, we’ll have a beer in the Plaça del Teatre, thanks to Estrella Damm, and of course, we’ll have those reunions we look forward to year after year, hugs, chats, toasts and memories.
