Can Grapes
Can Grapes is a collective created in 2020 in Barcelona by photographers Ana Benavent, Arnau Sidera, and graphic designer Gerard Soler, who work in the field of fanzines linked to imagery and in the editing of these publications. It is a project that aims to delve into the creation, editing, and distribution of this type of publication with complete freedom.
We carry out both individual projects of each of us and collective projects developed in the form of exercises in common, such as our first publication “Can grapes hurt dogs?” or “Boquerones en…” where, starting from images created by each of us, we make several publications collectively.
Can Grapes aims to be a platform for dissemination and creation, so we participate in publishing markets (Revela’T, Fiebre Photo Book, Art Photo Bcn…), we teach workshops both in schools and within the framework of photography festivals, and we advise individuals who want to carry out self-published personal projects. Our publications can be found at Fatbottom bookstore, Fotocolectania, and also in our online store (https://cangrapes.bigcartel.com/) or Instagram: @cangrapes.fanzines
