Revela’t 2019: El bo i el dolent de l’ésser humà
El lema de l’edició 2019 va ser Klaatu Barada Nikto, una frase mítica d’una coneguda pel·lícula de ciència-ficció i amb la que preteníem estimular projectes fotogràfics que reflectissin la complexa relació de l’ésser humà amb el planeta plantejant dues preguntes molt concretes. Per què mereixeríem ser destruïts? O Per què mereixeríem salvar-nos?9
En aquesta edició van destacar dos fotògrafs de Magnum, Bruce Gilden i David Burnett que molt amablement ens van cedir les seves exposicions.
Inaugurem el Teatre la Massa, amb la pel·lícula «D’on no es torna» d’Alberto García Alix que va rebre la nostra Distinció de Plata.
I va ser la nostra primera edició del Revela’t Day a l‘Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, a Barcelona, on vam superar amb escreix les expectatives. I a Barcelona també vam tenir una gran exposició d’Acció Cultural Espanyola AC/E i Signe Editors, “50 fotografies amb història“, que van poder veure desenes de milers de persones, al Passeig Colom.
