Barely Legal

At 21, anywhere in the world, you are legally an adult. According to Paola’s memories of that time, it was an age of great excitement, of desire to know and conquer the world outside the safety of your home, but also of fears and uncertainties.

Women in their twenties are freer than ever, without the pressure of becoming mothers at an early age, they can achieve more in academic and professional fields. The portraits seek harmony between the controlling forces of the mind and the natural and sexual powers of the body.
