A crack in the mirror

The intention of the project is to have a look on childhood, puberty and adolescence, through the follow-up of some girls that I photograph every year.

The idea is to build a life diary that reflects the changes in each of the stages of metamorphosis growth through which girls have to go from childhood to adulthood.

She studied Fine Arts and Landscape Architecture at the University of her hometown and completed her studies in London and Paris.

She works on long-term projects concerning landscape, childhood, teenagers, and the cycles of life. Always looking for the magic in the everyday just around the corner.

Cristina’s work has been widely exhibited in places such as: The Royal Photography Society, Bristol. II Festival Internacional de Fotografía de Castilla y León 2022, Centro de la Fotografía del TEA, Tenerife, DA2 Domus Artium Salamanca (ES) Cener for Fine Art Photography Fort Williams, Griffin Museum of Photography, Mopla, Month of Photography, Los Angeles (USA). Her projects have been published in magazines and platforms such as: The Britisth Journal of Photography, The Guardian, L’Oeil de laPhotografie, Lenscracth and Lensculture among others.
