“Genealogy” seeks to relate found analog material of ancestor images (35mm-b&w) with photographs taken in the interiors of my village house threatened with collapse (digital-color). Its purpose is to build an autobiographical story in images on the thread of the crack, thus bridging the time gap that separates the two materials.

Folded, it is an artist’s book or family album, which fits on a bookshelf. Unfolded, it is a photograph that can be displayed. The scale (1:1,2613͡6) corresponds to my height, making the book a self-portrait, a reduction of the village house to the scale of my own experience.
