Soniquete

Soniquete comes from the word “son”, and its meaning is compass, rhythm. This word is used more frequently when referring to the compass of the “bulerías” and is its spine.
As it sounds in the first song on Paco de Lucía’s album “Zyryab”, (“si no tienes soniquete, ¿pa qué te metes?”).
In this work the beat or rhythm is marked by the light of their hometown, where they are in a relaxed pose that they are not used to in their daily life as artists.
