Vilassar de Dalt is a village with a rich archaeological, natural and industrial heritage. A gateway to the “Serralada Litoral” Park still preserves in its old town, many of the architectural elements that characterize it.

The castle of Vilassar has been declared a historic-artistic monument in 1931 crowns majestically the center of the town. It should be emphasised on the large manufacturing buildings which reveal the rich industrial textile past of the town.

As for the archaeological heritage it should be noted all megalithic sites in the area of Can Boquet, as well as the known dolmen de la Roca d’en Toni

The theater of Massa, with its majestic dome designed by architect Rafael Guastavino, as a motor of cultural activities. As for museums we found the Vilassar de Dalt Archive Museum, as well as the Museum Cau del Cargol, one of the most important private collections of malacology in Europe.
