Distorted memories

Distorted memories can be seen as a first approach to memory as a concept. The project presents a series of images
created from personal film rolls that were abandoned and stored for a long time and it depicts inner and forgotten
By manipulating the film, I intended to capture the interferences that prevent us from having accurate and objective
memories. The process consists in destroying partially the original images in order to create a new one able to evidence
the subjectivity and fragility in the process of construction of our memory.
