Halfway to Low Tide, by Peter de Graaff

Winter storms coupled with spring tides, massive waves and new moon shattered ancient shell deposits at Bass Point in New South Wales scattering their records across rock platforms in the intertidal zone.

Half way to low tide documents thirteen fragments worn by time and tide, uncovering the hidden pathos of our own relative impermanence and objects upon which we bestow beauty, power and grace.

Over many years he has been a political and environmental activist, educator in prisons, and also worked in the labour movement organising and community capacity building.
