Cero, by Alfonso Moral

Zero comes from the Arabic word safara, which means emptiness.

This work proposes an approach to the concept of zero through photographs taken in Libya and Syria during the armed conflict.

From the broken dreams of the Libyan revolution to the endless war in Syria that has plunged the country into chaos without any solution.

Zero as the sum of multiple actors and situations that have failed to obtain any results.

The approach of the book allows the reader to freely interpret of the story. This open reading aims to generate questions instead of giving answers.

Co-founder of the Pandora Collective of documentary photography and director of Video Documentaries. He moved to Syria, where he began working as a documentary photographer in the Middle East and Central Asia.
