A Limbo for the Youth, by Álvaro Gómez-Pidal

An essay about the author’s generation. A confused generation in which we try to find ourselves far from the cities that are youth’s usual habitat.

Where we ask ourselves if we are nothing more than stranded sheep in the midst of an intense social, political and emotional moment of change.

This series creates a magical, decayed and rural timeless limbo. A limbo in which people and animals drift, discovering life and death in search of some inner meaning.

Who is the shepherd that guides us safely to the slaughterhouse?

A solitary photographer and filmmaker, he grew up interested in the Arts. He studied Psychology at university after developing a love and passion for photography. He likes to think painting is a big influence on his work, for composition and understanding of an image.
